Rewarding your community members

Question

How do you reward your community members? And how to pick these members? I know that people love a good deal or an opportunity to win something. But, materialising rewarding process in a community is not that easy, especially when you run a small community - say just about 300 members.

Any suggestions?

Rewarding is more like a fuel to Community. It should be basically entwined to the purpose of your Community. Rewarding can be done in three ways. Create conversations that will bring out Content and reward users for best answer via a feature or badge and that will help in smoothening activation. Otherwise, reward users when they are helpful or when they ar creating meaningful discussions (expert tags or post of the day). This basically makes them feel automatically included. When a user is pretty active then we obviously reward them for top contribution. This way, we can cover all the grounds.
