Community engagement and different ways

Question

A community can only grow when each and every member of the community is considered an owner, an investor, and a contributor. This creates a feeling of belongingness.
I’ve been trying different ways to get my community to engage in interesting discussions and encouraging them to contribute to the community but it is not very simple.

Would love to hear your views and any suggestions you have to keep a community active.

Belongingness needs a lot of ground work.  Have a way of letting the people know the mission and values of the community. Have barriers to entry. Have rules of engagement in place.   Let your stakeholders know that you're trying to build meaningful engagement in the community. Know what your members care about and use those topics to create content and events.   Have clear path or guide for a person who wants to become a top contributor.  for example: https://www.outsystems.com/events/user-groups/. This will encourage your members as well.
