Gamification in Communities

Question

Whether it is a leaderboard, incentives or awards, every community member likes recognition. Gamifying a community on the basis of activity and utility has always been an easy way for community managers to identify active members. What do you think?

Absolutely! It gives them the feeling of growing in and with the community and keeps them hooked with the consistent reward/upgrade/new badge and other such incentives.
