What do you think draws members together in a community?

A feeling of familiarity - where we all know that we like the same thing and want to be a part of a group.  Let me know your thoughts as well.

I feel like they come initially to seek specific help ... but hopefully the community is able to engage them enough to come back again after that!

To look for answers. I mean, if I have any doubt about the topic at hand - whether it is about. For eg. In a community for developers, it is common to see them asking each other doubts and getting them answered.
