Is there any community platform for college clubs?
I want to start my college community online, I've been running on telegram and believe me its not the best place to be at. Looking for something like reddit, but reddit it too distracting and toxic. Any suggestion from you guys would be awesome.
Almost 6 months of 2021! Where do you stand with your community goals?
Most of us have a goal this year to try something new in the community we manage (or just want to). What all have you tried so far? or what are you planning?
If you've done it already, how effective was it?
I recently moved my community from Facebook Group to Discord. For the past 3 years, we've been basically living on FB group. But found it too messy. Also, the conversation took a while to dig with all the scrolling.
What are the worst things about creating community on a social platform/ Slack for you?
You just reached your first 100 members in your online community. What should be your main priority for the next 3 months?
Community GuidelinesBe Kind and Courteous. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
No Promotions or Spam. Give more than you take to this community. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
Respect Everyone's Privacy. Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make communities great, but may also be sensitive and private.
No Hate Speech or Bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
